We had a fantastic stay at Camping Des Ribieres! The location right on the River Vienne was absolutely beautiful. We enjoyed swimming and canoeing in the river, and the family playground was a great bonus. Our wooden bungalow was like glamping - it had everything we needed for a comfortable stay, including a twin bed, fridge, microwave, and outdoor kitchen. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly, always going above and beyond to make sure we had a great experience. The campsite was kept clean and tidy, with pleasant shady trees and beautiful pitches. We even had the convenience of a bread van in the morning. I highly recommend this campsite for a wonderful holiday experience in the Charente area.

Loved the free bikes, especially trying to squeeze my posh self into a child's bicycle seat. And the private beach area made me feel like a true aristocrat, even though I had to share it with some seagulls. The sun terrace was perfect for showing off my minimal tan.

The barbecue area was a bit disappointing, not enough footmen to grill my steak for me. How dare they expect me to do it myself!

We recently stayed at a campsite with a fantastic location right by the river! the host at Camping Des Ribieres was very friendly and welcoming. We loved that there was a food truck bakery in the morning and another one at night that served delicious burgers and French fries. It was also convenient to be able to park our car right in front of our tent.

Highly recommend this site for a peaceful and enjoyable camping experience. Cons: No complaints!

We had a fantastic stay at this campsite! The location was absolutely stunning, right on the picturesque River Vienne. We loved waking up to the peaceful sounds of nature. Our "tent" had everything we needed, including a comfy bed and power. The shared wash facilities were clean and well-maintained. Plus, there were food options available, like the food truck bakery in the mornings and the evening food stands. a great experience!

The only minor downside was the distance to the working facilities, especially on rainy days.

The facilities near our tent were locked, so we had to walk quite a distance to find working facilities. And with the constant rain, using the toilets at night became impossible.

I loved the peaceful and clean atmosphere of the site, with shady trees and lovely pitches.

The only thing that could have made the morning meal better was if there were more breakfast options available.

the campground in confolens exceeded our expectations. it was a delightful and peaceful location right on the river's edge. the small "tent" we stayed in had everything we needed including a comfy double bed and power. the shared wash facilities were clean and the staff was very helpful and sociable. highly recommended.
